Welcome to MEA Caribbean
Medical Electives Abroad Caribbean was set up by a doctor to recreate the life changing elective she took to St Vincent and the Grenadines. Our aim is to take all the stress and worry out of organising an elective, while ensuring you have an amazing time away. We take care of your accommodation, have someone meet you at the airport, provide 24 hour support while away and of course you hospital placement. On top of this we provide a free trip for you to enjoy, and our team can help recommend the places for food and drink, the best beaches and excursions that are not to be missed.
St Vincent is one of the most stunning island chains in the Caribbean and is famed for its beaches and snorkeling. The country is made up of 32 islands, and has an array of activities and trips. From climbing a volcano to swimming with turtles there will never be a dull moment. The islands were also featured heavily in the Pirates of the Caribbean films due to their unspoilt beauty.
The hospitals and medical clinics here will be unlike those you have worked in before. By taking your elective abroad in a developing medical environment, you will challenge yourself both personally and professionally. We help support a number of local health initiatives so that your elective will make a real difference
Our Elective Program
We run electives to the beautiful Caribbean island of St Vincent and the Grenadines. Our aim is to make a real different to the island, so you will have the chance to work on community projects and outreach programs.
But we will also make sure you have an elective to remember. From climbing an active volcano to swimming with turtles.

The goal of MEA is to create an unforgettable, stress free elective. We take care of everything, from a friendly face at the airport to your accommodation and elective placement. We know firsthand what it's like to take an elective to the Caribbean, so who better to help you plan one...
